from Producing Artistic Director...

SUNDAY, MARCH 20, 2011

An incredible, inspiring and positive day starting with first read-thru of our Spring production, Joseph Sousa's Teeth Of The Sons directed by Nicole Haran at and our Spring Ensemble Meeting!

The day reminded me of a favorite quote: "Choose good partners and partners who complement your skill set....the most fruitful have been with people who have been able to expand my knowledge and experience for whom I believe I've been able to do a similar thing. It's great to have someone to bounce ideas off of before you have to say them out loud to the world." - Anne Carey

If you're not a friend of Barefoot Theatre Company yet, take a second and become one today! You won't regret it. To all you awesome members with big hearts, talent, and positive souls - THANK YOU for allowing me to be your artistic leader.

See you all on Thursday for a Spring Bash to remember!!!!

Love, Frank

Teeth of the Sons Production Blog Entry (preproduction resumes...)

Tuesday, March 8, 2011
So, we just produced the west coast premiere of our bareNaked Reading Series and it was a major success all around. We had an amazing time and everyone at the Art Of Acting Studio definitely made us feel at home and allowed us to share our work with their community and fellow artists/students. We are back in NYC and reading to get back to our Spring Production.
Now that our cast is in place, we continue our preproduction and design meetings in prep for our first table read of Teeth Of The Sons in less than two weeks from now. We promise to bring you one of the best new plays New York City has to offer.

We are also meeting all week at our Rehearsal Space / Office in Park Slope, Brooklyn to get ready for our SPRING BASH / BEAT BOXIN COMPETITION! Watch out for more details coming soon!!! Thanks everyone for your support! Barefoot Theatre Company (photo, LtoR: Luca Pierucci, Nicole Haran, Joseph Sousa during one of many casting sessions for Teeth Of The Sons).
