Francisco Solorzano and Israel Horovitz direct!

On September 1st, 2009 Barefoot Theatre Company's Producing Artistic Director Francisco Solorzano and Advisory Board member Israel Horovitz collaborate on the direction of Horovitz's newest drama, The P-Word. The full-length drama was originally presented in Barefoot's bareNaked Reading Series and NYPlaywright's Lab workshop with Marin Ireland (both directed by Francisco Solorzano.)

The reading of The P-Word is another entry in Barefoot Theatre Company's 70/70 Horovitz Project.

Sins of the Mother first week a SUCCESS!

Israel Horovitz's Sins of the Mother featuring Robert Walsh, David Nail and Barefoot Theatre Company members Francisco Solorzano and Christopher Whalen opened this week and ended with a sold-out house and a standing ovation. The New England Premiere is directed by the playwright, Israel Horovitz. Sins of the Mother, now playing at Glocester Stage Company in Gloucester, MA is part of Barefoot Theatre Company's 70/70 Horovitz Project.

Sins of the Mother was seen as a reading on the opening of the 70/70 Horovitz Project directed by Jo Bonney and featuring Bobby Cannavale, John Doman, Michael Stuhlbarg and Francisco Solorzano. The opening night presentation took place on Mr. Horovitz's actual 70th birthday.
