ROCKAWAY (who's who) KEVIN GEER

KEVIN GEER 
Kevin Geer's celebrated acting career includes appearances in feature film, on television, Broadway, Off-Broadway and London's West End. He recently completed one of the lead roles in the independent feature film Bunker Hill, from director Kevin Willmott (CSA: Confederate States of America). Geer appears alongside James McDaniel (NYPD Blue) and Saeed Jaffrey (Gandhi).  His many film credits include The Pelican Brief, Margaret, The Men Who Stare at Goats, Arrowshot (Sundance Film Festival), Walter Foote's The Tavern and Rod Luries' The Contender opposite Joan Allen. Kevin's extensive stage career includes celebrated performances on London's West End, where he most recently played Jonesey in Side Man, the 1999 Tony Award winner for Best Play. On Broadway, he co-starred in a highly acclaimed staging of Twelve Angry Men and A Streetcar Named Desire. His Off-Broadway credits include The Foreigner at the Astor Place Theatre and Found A Peanut at The Public.  On television, Kevin has appeared on Oz, Law & Order, Homicide, China Beach, M.A.S.H., Macgyver and the TV film Sweet Bird Of Youth opposite Elizabeth Taylor.

ROCKAWAY (who's who) CAITLIN FITZGERALD


We've recently announced JESSE EISENBERG, and LYLE KESSLER joining the cast for our upcoming event, ROCKAWAY, a reading of short plays on 12.18.12 at the legendary Cherry Lane Theatre - and we're just as excited to share that CAITLIN FITZGERALD will be joining us as well!!!  Caitlin recently joined us for our bareNaked Reading Series and was featured in works by Mike Reiss (The Simpsons) and Kristoffer Diaz (Pulitzer Prize Nominee for Elaborate Entrance Of Chad Deity)...  You won't want to miss theres incredible artists come together for a great cause!  Stay tuned for more Who's Who...

  
CAITLIN FIZTGERALD
Caitlin FitzGerald's film credits include 'It's Complicated' (dir. Nancy Meyers), 'Newlyweds' and 'Fitzgerald Family Christmas' (both directed by Ed Burns), 'Damsels in Distress' (dir. Whit Stillman), 'Taking Woodstock' (dir. Ang Lee), 'Love Simple' (dir. Mark von Sternberg, and the up-coming 'Mutual Friends' (dir. Matthew Watts) and 'Manhattan Romance' (dir. Tom O'Brien). She is also the co-writer of 'Like the Water', a feature in which she also stars. Her television credits include 'Gossip Girl,' 'How to Make it in America,' 'Blue Bloods,' 'Law and Order:SVU,' 'Mercy,' and the up-coming series for Showtime 'Masters of Sex' based on the lives of Masters and Johnson. Theater credits include Juliet in 'Romeo and Juliet' at Shakespeare Santa Cruz, and Hedda in 'Hedda Gabler' (dir. John Gould Rubin).  She is a graduate of New York University's Tisch School of the Arts and a member of the Actors Center Workshop Company. She is thrilled to be joining the brilliant Barefoot community for this event!

ROCKAWAY (who's who) JESSE EISENBERG

JESSE EISENBERG
most recently wrote and starred in Rattlestick’s Asuncion at the Cherry Lane Theatre, for which he was nominated for a Drama League Award.  He will return to the Cherry Lane Theatre with Rattlestick's production of his newest work, The Revionist in Feb/March.  He has appeared in the films The Social Network (Oscar nomination), Zombieland, Adventureland (BAFTA nomination), The Squid and the Whale,and Roger Dodger.  He is also a contributing writer for McSweeney’sand his humor essays have appeared in Harper’s and The New York Times.

ROCKAWAY (who's who) KRISTINA POE


Here's another close-up on one of the many incredible playwrights taking part in our fundraiser on 12.18.12!!!  We can't wait to work with Kristina!!!!

KRISTINA POE
Kristina spent the first twenty years of her theater career in management, stage managing Off-Broadway and regionally, production managing for companies in San Francisco and New York, and most recently was the company manager for LAByrinth Theater Company in New York City for almost six years. She wrote her first play, LOVE SICK, after becoming a member of LAByrinth, and presented it at their Summer Intensive in 2009. LOVE SICK was also part of the Barn Series at the Public Theater and had a 29-hour workshop at the Cherry Pit Theater. The play was first produced by The Elephant Theater Company in Hollywood, CA, where it was named one of the Top Ten best reviewed production of 2011, and then in New York by AirPort Bar Productions. Kristina is a founding member of Sonoma County Rep, and a proud alum of Summer Repertory Theater in Santa Rosa, CA. Her newest play, THE RESTLESSNESS OF DESIRE, closed out LAByrinth’s Barn Series this June, and her adaptation of the Tennessee Williams’ short story, THE MATTRESS BY THE TOMATO PATCH, is currently included in a workshop of Williams’ adaptations being curated by Cincinnati Playhouse.  Her newest piece, THE IDEA OF ME, was first presented at LAB’s Intensive at Connecticut College, and is to be workshopped in NYC in January.

Born and raised in England, Mickey now lives in NYC. Theatre credits include Tomorrow Morning(HB Playwrights Foundation), Hillbilly WomenRumspringa and Think Global, F**k Local (dir. Max Stafford-Clark, Royal Court).  TV credits include a recurring role in Showtime series The Borgias (Season 1).  Film credits include Missed Connections (Winner of the Sarasota Film Festival Audience Award 2012, Winner of Gen Art Audience Award 2012, Winner of the Savannah Film Festival Audience Award 2012), CBGBImogeneI Have No Hold on You, We’re going to the Zooand the upcoming Frances Ha (Dir. Noah Baumbach).
