Schooled and Unschooled
Company member Anika Solvieg is appearing in:
"Schooled and Unschooled" a performance piece (part play, part essay, part class, and part documentary) about the role institutionalized schooling plays in the construction of political, emotional, and social behavior in the U.S.
Combining over 50 interviews, Foucault's Discipline and Punish, sound design and music by Brian McCorkle, projected mental models, and 10 rubber balls, the piece literally tests and examines the audience and the methods of teaching alongside human processes of learning.
