Israel Horovitz's Sins of the Mother which had its New England Premiere this past summer at Gloucester Stage Company won an IRNE Award for BEST NEW PLAY last night. The production was also part of Barefoot Theatre Company's 70/70 Horovitz Project and featured Barefoot Theatre Company's very own ensemble members, Francisco Solorzano and 
Christopher Whalen in the lead role(s) of twins Frankie and Philly Verga. The production was also directed by Mr. Horovitz and later had another production at Florida Stage which also featured Francisco Solorzano and directed once again by Mr. Horovitz. Both productions played to sold-out houses with rave reviews.
