SAMANTHA FONTANA (Cora) a native New Yorker, received her BFA in Acting from Brooklyn College and studied at the Lee Strasberg Institute of Theatre and Film. Samantha is a proud Company Member and Artistic Associate of the Barefoot Theatre Company and made her Off-Broadway debut performing as the Understudy in Barefoot's production of EMERGENCY USED CANDLES directed by Victoria Malvagno. She and Victoria wrote and workshopped THE VILLAGE ILIAD, a One Woman Show about growing up in the East Village at the Cherry Lane Theatre this past Spring. She has also performed in GI60, the International One Minute Play Festival, in the West Coast Premiere of the bareNaked Reading Series in Los Angeles, CA and other shows. Samantha is the co-writer, director and lead actor for "S&M", a series of comedic web shorts.

Joe Pintauro's RAFT OF THE MEDUSA will kick off "Stripped," with previews starting October 6 prior to a press opening October 8 and running through October 22.
First presented in 1991 to considerable acclaim, RAFT OF THE MEDUSA has been revised by Mr. Pintauro for this production. Drawing on the Theodore Gericault 19th century painting of people clinging to a raft following a shipwreck, Pintauro's play takes place 10 years into the AIDS epidemic, centering on a weekly gathering of people living with AIDS.
