JEREMY BRENA - has been a member of Barefoot Theatre Company since 2002. Credits include Raft of the Medusa, Dog Day Afternoon, Suite Horovitz, Metropolitan Operas, and Balm In Gilead.
MARK G. CISNEROS - 2002 OOBR Award winning actor Mark G. Cisneros has a career in Theater and Film spanning over 17 years. Theater: Walkabout by Marcus Haupt (the Flea Theater), The Sons of Juan Perez by Roberto De Los Reyes (the Puerto Rican Traveling Theater), and ?De Donde? By Mary Gallagher, his first play with the Barefoot Theatre Company (Looking Glass Theater). Television: Third Watch (with Ann Margaret) and As the World Turns; Film: Mercutio in Romeo and Juliet, New York, accepted to the Havana Film Festival in 2003; As producer with his previous company On A Quest he is proud to have produced and starred in two successful plays (La Habitacion by Barbara Colio-accepted to The NY International Fringe Festival, and Rising Sun, Falling Star by Yolanda Rodriguez at the 78th St Theater Lab). Mark is currently ensemble of the Barefoot Theatre Company and is currently working on the most important production of his life so far…his wedding plans!  As always Mark thanks his wonderful family and friends for their undying support of his artistic endeavors and of course dedicates all of his performances to his dear Lydia.



SAMANTHA FONTANA - received her BFA in Acting from Brooklyn college in 2010 and studied at the Lee Strasberg Institute. She has since been in New York working in theatre, TV and film. Samantha became a Barefoot member in 2010 and has since performed in three productions as well as several workshops and readings with the company.  www.SFontana.com



LYDIA GLADSTONE
- For Barefoot she has worked offstage as a Costumer and onstage in the recent reading of the Fringe Festival-bound Rubble with Richard Kind; De Donde (OOBR award) and as Margaret/Vi in the acclaimed production of Dog Day Afternoon, on NYC’s Theatre Row.  Her work in NY, Regional, and Stock theatres include scores of characters.  Some recent favorite roles include Fraulein Schneider(Cabaret), Mrs. Lovett(Sweeney Todd), Nancy Shirley (Frozen), Rose (Gypsy), Desiree (A Little Night Music), Witch (Into the Woods-Best Actress Award), Sally Adams (Call Me Madam), and Kate (Broadway Bound).  Off-B’way she portrayed Bluma Jacobson in the acclaimed Harry and Eddie, at the Actors Temple.  She appeared as Jeannette Burmeister in The Full Monty at its sold-out run at Vermont’s acclaimed Northern Stage, and as Iowa Housewife in Menopause the Musical.  Last spring she created the title role in Petunia, a garage musical.  Many musical reviews including Side by Side by Sondheim, Closer Than Ever, and Jacques Brel; several world premieres (two at the York Theatre’s acclaimed new musical showcases), and film/video works.  Her ‘day job’-resident costumer for Calhoun HS’s acclaimed On Tour Theatre Co. as well as other theatre companies.  Proud member of Barefoot Theatre Co.


VICTORIA MALVAGNO - Director, Actress and Dancer, Victoria Malvagno was featured across the globe in the award winning documentary Mad Hot Ballroom from Paramount Classic. She has directed numerous readings and productions for the Barefoot Theatre Company since 1999. Victoria has directed at the Emerging Artists Theatre festival, Cherry Lane Theatre, Art Of Acting Studio in LA. Theater Acting Credits: Liberty, the new musical (New Workshop Theater, Cherry Lane Theatre), The Water Engine (Edinburgh Festival Fringe, Scotland), Israel Horovitz's New Shorts (Theatre Row Theatres), the workshop and premiere of Dog Day Afternoon (Theatre Row Theatres), Jose Rivera's Marisol (Looking Glass Theatre), Women and Wallace (78th Street Theatre Lab), The Audition Play (Boston Theatre Marathon, 2007), Originated the role of Shelly in Israel Horovitz's Security (Gloucester Stage Company / 78th Street Theatre Lab.) T.V.: The Glamorous Life (Pilot). Film: Security, Mad Hot Ballroom. Victoria is also an Educational Liaison and teaching artist for The American Ballroom Theater.  She is a co-founder of the Barefoot Theatre Company and has been an Ensemble Member Since its inception in 1999.


LUCA PIERUCCI - proud member of Barefoot Theatre Co; recently seen in "The Place Beyond the Pines" with Ray Liotta and Bradley Cooper; lifetime member of the Actors Studio; thanks to Frankie and God.
GILLIAN ROUGIER -  is a proud Ensemble Member and Artistic Associate with Barefoot Theatre Company. She is also a proud Ensemble Member with Stable Cable Lab Co and is currently in the process of devising a piece with the ensemble. This devised piece, i love you more than all the stars in the sky, will be presented in July of 2013 as a workshop production in San Francisco as part of foolsFURY‘s Factory Parts Works-In-Progress festival. She recently performed in Nostalgia: Memories of a Tropical Past with MA's Playhouse; a new theater company that focuses on Caribbean-American actors and playwrights. She holds a BFA in Acting from Brooklyn College.

MICKEY RYAN – Has appeared in Israel Horovitz’s LEBENSRAUM at the June Havoc Theatre and IMAGINING HESCHEL, both for the Harold Clurman Company of the Stella Adler school. On stage he has been a member of the Gi60 one-minute play festival at Brooklyn College since its inception in 2005, the 2013 version of which he just completed. He recently played Petkoff in GB Shaw’s ARMS and the MAN and Dr. Passmore in Shaw’s THE PHILANDERER at Theatre 1010, both directed by Leah Bonvissuto, as well as Macduff in MACBETH and Carlisle in RICHARD II at the Harold Clurman. Plays Trevor in the feature THE SPIRIT CABINET directed by Jay Stern. Other films include THE ADVENTURES OF PAUL AND MARIAN (Corporate Hack), also directed by Stern, and DARKLIGHT (Jerry) for the SciFi Channel. He has attempted to make ends meet as a carny, dishwasher, deliverer of wine, and car wash attendant, and those were the good jobs. As always, love to L & R.

JAY NICKERSON - Off-Broadway: Inspector Ascher in Perfect Crime at the Duffy Theatre, Henry Higgins in Pygmalion and Herr Miller in Intrigue and Love at the Jean Cocteau Repertory Theatre; National Tours: Scrooge in A Christmas Carol, Matthew in The Cotton Patch Gospel, Sinclair Lewis in Exile From Main Street – a solo performance; Regional: Edward in Spike Heels at The Actors Center Theatre of Philadelphia, Mortimer in Arsenic and Old Lace at the Gretna Playhouse, Gatsby in The Great Gatsby and F. Scott Fitzgerald in Scott and Zelda at the Great American History Theatre, Clarence Darrow in Never The Sinner at the Actors Theatre of Minnesota; Film: Living and Dining, Grown Men, Postcards From America.



SHEREE V. CAMPBELL -  is an actor based in New York. She recently graduated with a Masters degree in theatre from Long Island University. Recent work includes assisting with the premier of Monk Parrots’ After An Earlier Incident at the LaMaMa Experimental Theatre Club.

DWAYNE YANCEY (Playwright)
Dwayne Yancey is a playwright from the Blue Ridge Mountains of Virginia whose work has been produced on four continents, with recent shows in Asia and Africa. However, his most recent full-length script, "The Ballad of Alejandro Lopez," is a very American play, dealing with baseball -- and immigration. "Sweets to the Sweet, " his female version of Hamlet set in a modern-day slumber party, opens in Chicago at the Gorilla Tango Theatre in September. Yancey's work has previously been seen in New York in the "Gone in 60 Seconds" Festival of one-minute plays and Barefoot's benefit for hurricane victims in Rockaway. ROSE BONCZEK (Director)
Rose Bonczek was recently appointed a Full Professor of theater at Brooklyn College, is head of the BFA Acting Program, and a recipient of the Clare Tow Distinguished Teacher Award. Co-author with David Storck of Ensemble Theatre Making: A Practical Guide, Routledge Press, 2012. She is entering her ninth year as Festival Director of Gi60: The International One Minute Play Festival: Live US Edition (www.gi60.blogspot.com), an international collaboration that has produced over 1000 original short plays that can be viewed on the Gi60 Channel on YouTube. Directing credits include the premiere of Lily Rose by Aurora de Peña for the Ghost Story Festival at the Viaduct Theatre, UK; Pygmalion Off Broadway (Zagat’s Best Revival); The Laramie Project for Synergy Ensemble; The Rimers of Eldritch, Rough Magic, Take Me Out, Savage in Limbo, and the Crucible at Brooklyn College, and the annual BFA Actors Showcase at Theatre Row. Member of the League of Professional Theater Women, and board member of Barefoot Theatre Company.
