For our newest Sandbox night, we're thrilled to bring you "Beirut Rocks", "The Hotel Play", and "2nd Violin", culled from 6 Hotels, a new collection of short plays from the pen of legendary writer/director Israel Horovitz. These moving, insightful, and often funny plays explore the lives of jilted lovers, politically-charged students, struggling musicians - in hotel rooms from New York to Beirut. Co-directed by Mr. Horovitz himself! Musical guest-artists Chris Otto and Emily DuFour are concert string players of the highest order, who have performed at festivals worldwide, with a diverse repertoire of original compositions, classical staples, and improvisation.
