Grancentral has been hitting the arts scene pretty hard this year, first performing a original composition at Fader First Fridays at the Museum of Natural History with Michna, and a full set of original music at the Bronx Museum for the boutique film production company Friends We Love.
Friends We love also used his music in a documentary film on street artist D*Face.
Rounding out a year of collaborations, an avant garde sound design piece with film maker Richard Cohen, which debuted at the years Scope Art Fair at Lincoln Center.
As a Dj, grancentral has held down funk/soul nights at the recently defunct lounge Marion's, as well as a monthly soul party at the Greenpoint bar the Keg and Lantern. Spinning a mix of R&B/Soul from the 50's 60's and 70's, grancentral turns parties out and gets people dancing with an eclectic mix of 80's pop, hip-hop and club bangers that keep people moving all night long.
