Artistic Director, Francisco Solorzano directing...

Barefoot Theatre Company Co-Founder, Producing Artistic Director and Actor, Francisco Solorzano will direct two new plays this month. His directorial work can be seen this month with the newly formed Stable Cable Lab Co and the award winning Rattlestick Playwrights Theater.

With Stable Cable Lab Co, Francisco will direct the staged reading of Lauren Yee's IN A WORD at Jimmy's #43!

Following the reading of Yee's work, Francisco will take part in Rattlestick's THEATERJAM3 with the presentation of Pulitzer Prize Nominee, Kistoffer Diaz's play JULIA & ERIC. The evening will include new works by Stephen Belber, Craig Lucas, Jesse Eisenberg and more!!! JULIA & ERIC will feature Barefoot Theatre Company Artistic Associate, Lisa Anderson and Barefoot Family Member, Arthur Kriklivy.

Francisco recently directed a staged reading of Diaz's F**KING VIGWAN (OR SWAG) at the Art Of Acting Studio in Los Angeles, CA for Barefoot Theatre Company's bareNaked LA Reading Series. Previous to the LA presentation of Diaz's new play, Francisco directed the fully staged workshop at the legendary Cherry Lane Theatre this past fall.
