Artistic Associates are seasonal volunteered positions where artists get the opportunity to work with our critically acclaimed and award winning ensemble... Many Artistic Associates have gone on to become Ensemble Members as well as being featured in our productions, workshops and reading series (both in NYC and LA).
We're looking for Artistic Associates to work closely with our Producing Artistic Director (Francisco SOLORZANO), Producing Director (Christopher WHALEN), Associate Producing Director (Danelle ELIAV), Literary Manager / Program Director for our reading series (Molly MARINIK) and Co-Producer (Jennie WEST).
Artistic Associate Duites include but not limited to:
- Meet twice a week (4 hours total for both days combined).
- Total Volunteer Hours (10 hours a week).
- Excellent writing and communication skills (will lead and assist with applying for residencies; working on producing of all events including 15th Anniversary GALA; readings; workshops and productions.
- Interest in growing with the company and in Producing for Theater AND Film (will work with BTC's film co: Barefoot Studio Pictures alongside Christopher WHALEN on upcoming project(s) and current festival submissions of debut film project).
Artistic Associates will take part and be invited to ALL events including reading series, 15th Anniversary GALA, workshops and productions.
