MIRIAM CANFIELD graduated with a BFA from New York University last May, having studied in the
Stella Adler and Classical Studios. She moved out to LA in September and
recently put her ballet and piano training to use in Celine Dion's upcoming
music video, "Incredible."
VINNY CHHIBBER was born in Queens, NY and grew up all over the southern United
States, the oldest of three. In 6th grade, he auditioned for his first
play for fun, was cast and discovered his love for the world of theatre, film
and storytelling. After graduating from the Stella Adler Conservatory in
New York, where he had the good fortune of training with and learning from
legends such as Frank Langella, Alford Molina and Earle Gister he moved to Los
Angeles where he currently resides. Credits include: Brothers & Sisters
(ABC), Chuck (NBC), Dollhouse (FOX) and Rules of Engagement (CBS).
BERNARDO CUBRIA is a playwright and actor. As a playwright his latest full
length The Redhead is Coming is receiving a public reading with
Barefoot Theatre Company in NYC in June. It was developed with Inviolet
Repretory Theatre Company. It has also had readings at The People's Light and
Theatre Company in Philadelphia, and with Inviolet Rep. His first
play Down Boy has received readings at Wordsmyth Theatre Company in
Houston, Texas, and by Token Collective in NYC. His short play Danica and
Jean has been produced at over 15 short play festivals around the country.
As an actor his favorite credits include Cesar
in Basilica (Rattlestick Playwrights Theatre), Philip in Philip
Goes Forth (The Mint), Husband in So Go the Ghosts of
Mexico (La Mama), Luis in American
Jornalero (INTAR), The Man (understudy) in A Summer's

JOY DARASH - Hailing
from the east coast, Joy has worked in theater, film, and television in both
NYC and LA. She has performed in productions with The Elephant
Theater, The Open Fist Theater, The Lonny Chapman Theater, The Blank
Theater (Living Room Series), and the Underground Theater in LA, and Theater
Studio Inc. and The Producers Club in NYC. Film Credits include All About
Steve, Flotsam, Cat Power, Everybody's Jake, and It's Hard. Television:
Gilmore Girls, Criminal Minds, Rizzoli and Isles. She was also one of the
leads in the KoldCast TV webisode series Acting School Academy.

Chelsey is thrilled to be joining Barefoot LA for

CRISTINA FERNANDEZ is a member of Barefoot Theater Company.
She is currently attending the California Institute of the Arts
(CalArts), for her MFA in acting. Recent credits include, Tennessee Williams'
"The Dark Room" & "Every Twenty Minutes," at Edgemar
Center For The Arts, directed by James Franco.
LUCIANA FAULHABER - A native of Brazil, Luciana
completed a two-year Meisner training with Bill Esper and the LAByrinth Theatre
Master Class. Some of her credits include Iron Man 3, CSI Vegas, the action
feature The Night Crew and the upcoming horror film Don't Look. Some of
Luciana's theatre credits include off- Broadway show: the
world premiere of The Monkey written and directed by John Patrick
Shanley with music by Henry Krieger, and Fabiola in the critically acclaimed
New York Premiere of The Smell of Popcorn. Luciana is currently bicostal.

ALEXANDRA LILL is from Germany, Bavaria. She
discovered her love for acting at an early age and has been performing in
multiple theater productions ever since. Alexandra relocated to LA to venture
into film, but is very delighted to join the Barefoot Theater Company for it´s
bareNaked Reading Serious.
JERRY O'DONNELL - a New York raised actor and director who now lives and works in Los Angeles. Recent TV credits include a recurring role on MADMEN and guest stars on Dexter, Cold Case and Without a Trace. Jerry can currently be seen punching a heavy bag in a Kaiser Hospital commercial. Working with Barefoot theater Co feels like coming home in many ways and Jerry is excited to be an ensemble member working with such talented and committed artists.
JANE STEPHENS ROSENTHAL is an actress, and a poet, and a lady, and she is currently working on writing her first film. She most recently collaborated with Barefoot Theatre Co. acting in the short film written and directed by Caitlin FitzGerald for their sister co., Barefoot Studio Pictures.
FRANCISCO SOLORZANO - for the past 15 years, Francisco has produced, directed, acted, and led the Barefoot Theatre Company as Producing Artistic Director / Co-Founder from Off-Off Broadway to become a critically acclaimed and award winning NYC and LA Ensemble. Most notably onstage, Francisco adapted, directed and acted in the critically acclaimed/sold-out Off-Broadway world premiere of DOG DAY AFTERNOON (Theatre Row Theatres). Francisco has also been known for his leading role in Israel Horovitz's two-act drama SINS OF THE MOTHER (alongside Ethan Hawke, Chris Cooper, Bobby Cannavale, and Michael Stuhlbarg). Most recently, acted in and co-produced two short films with Barefoot Studio Pictures, THE GIRL WITH THE JACKET written and directed by Caitlin FitzGerald and FLOATING SUNFLOWERS (also dir.) w/ Anna Chlumsky, Lynn Cohen & Christopher Whalen. Collaborated on award winning revivals, NY and World Premieres with some of the most prolific companies including: LABYRINTH THEATER COMPANY, RATTLESTICK PLAYWRIGHTS THEATER, FLORIDA STAGE, GLOUCESTER STAGE CO., ENSEMBLE STUDIO THEATER, STELLA ADLER THEATER, THEATRE ROW THEATRES. JOHNNY PATRICK YODER - grew up in Green Bay, Wisconsin. He graduated from the University of Wisconsin - Green Bay Summa Cum Laude, before moving to New York City, where he attended the Stella Adler Studio of Acting. After graduating and working in NYC, he moved to Los Angeles where he studies at the Groundlings School and the Art of Acting Studio. He is a member of the Improv comedy group Scared Scriptless LA, and regular performs around Los Angeles doing improv shows, all while pursuing his acting career.
He is also passionate about political affairs, and regular participates in rallies, phone banks, and protests throughout the Los Angeles area.

MANDO ALVARADO is a writer/actor living in Los Angeles. His first feature film, Cruzando, which he co-wrote and co-directed with Michael Ray Escamilla, has screened at festivals such as the HBO NY International Latino Film Festival, the Newport Beach International Film Festival and the London Latino International Film Festival. And is currently available on DVD. His plays have been produced Off-Broadway by Rattlestick Theater, INTAR, Cherry, Lortel/Theaterworks and SummerStages, with developmental support from the John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts, The Lark, Naked Angels, Mixed Company, Theater Alliance, and Woolly Mammoth Theatre Company. He's currently with the writing staff on Tyrant for FX which will be directed by Ang Lee.
HILARY BETTIS is a playwright and screenwriter. Awards,

violin, volunteers with Undocumented Minors, and rides horses as much as it is
possible to being broke and living in a big city. She is currently working on a
feature (The Lost Coyote) with Oscar-winning
producer, Mara Kassin.

ED CARDONA JR. La
Ruta, a site-specific play which toured for a one-week run in each of the five
boroughs of New York City (commissioned/produced/Working Theater); American
Jornalero, selected as a MetLife Nuestras Voces National Playwriting
Competition award winner (Intar Theater); Leveret’s Lesson, (St. Andrew’s College, Aurora,
Canada); Jackson Heights, 3am, an ensemble collaborative piece (Theater 167);
Mongo, performed at the Local 3, I.B.E.W. Diversity Conference in part with
membership diversity workshops (commissioned/produced/Working Theater); Super
Moon , FOCUS Festival of the Arts, Aurora, Canada (commissioned/St. Andrews
College); Bottle Rockets and La Perla (Puerto Rican Traveling Theater), With
Love, Gabe (Intar Theatre). Ed has been an artistic associate with the Working
Theater, a collaborator with Urban Arts Partnership/The New Group/Life Stories
and a resident playwright with St. Andrews College, Hispanic Playwrights-in-Residence
Lab at Intar Theatre, The Professional Playwrights Unit at the Puerto Rican

KRISTOFFER DIAZ is a
playwright and educator living and working in Brooklyn. Full-length titles
include The Elaborate Entrance of Chad Deity, Welcome to
Arroyo’s, The Upstairs Concierge, and The Unfortunates.
Awards: 2011 New York Times Outstanding Playwright Award;
finalist for the 2010 Pulitzer Prize for Drama; winner, 2011 Lucille Lortel
Award for Outstanding Play; winner, 2011 OBIE Award, Best New American Play;
and the inaugural Gail Merrifield Papp Fellowship from The Public Theater
(2011). His work has been produced, commissioned, and developed at The Public
Theater, Dallas Theater Center, Geffen Playhouse, Center Theatre Group, The
Goodman, Second Stage, Victory Gardens, Oregon Shakespeare Festival, Actors
Theatre of Louisville, American Theater Company, The Atlantic, InterAct, Mixed
Blood, The Orchard Project, Hip-Hop Theater Festival, The Lark, Summer Play
Festival, Donmar Warehouse, and South Coast Repertory, among many others. He is
currently developing a pilot for FX.
YAHAIRA HERNANDEZ is delighted to be making her playwriting
debut with Barefoot Theatre Company. Yahaira is an
actor, playwright and director that is dedicated to portraying and
documenting the human experience, whether that be tragic or comedic. She finds
that theater and film are powerful mediums because in the moments of watching
and listening, human beings learn something of themselves, of others and what
is of value.
MEL NIEVES - Born and
raised in NYC. Graduate of the William Esper Studios. 2013 Voices Inside/Out
Playwright-in-Residence. Long time member of the award winning LAByrinth
theatre company. His plays have been presented in New York, Chicago and LA.

CARMEN RIVERA holds an MA in Playwriting and Latin American
Theatre from New York University. Her
OBIE-Award winning play LA GRINGA, just celebrated its’ 18th year anniversary
in repertory at Repertorio Español. It is now the longest running play in New
York Latino Theatre / Off-Broadway History. Carmen’s play, JULIA DE
BURGOS: Child of Water, will be featured in productions in New York City,
Chicago and Puerto Rico this year, celebrating the Centennial Anniversary of
the birth of Julia de Burgos. It will
also be published by Red Sugar Cane Press, in the Spring of 2014. Her play, THE DOWNFALL OF THE DOMINICAN
DICTATOR, RAFAEL TRUJILLO, will open this October at Teatro Círculo. She is a Founding Member and Co-Executive
Director of E.P.P. (Educational Play Productions), along with Cándido Tirado,

José RIVERA an award-winning screenwriter and playwright, most recently collaborated with the Goodman on Boleros for the Disenchantedduring the 2008/2009 Season and Massacre (Sing to Your Children) in the 2006/2007 Season. His plays—The House of Ramon Iglesia,Slaughter in the Lake, Flowers, The Promise,Each Day Dies with Sleep, Tape, Cloud Tectonics, Sueño, Marisol, References to Salvador Dalí Make me Hot, Sonnets for an Old Century, Brainpeople, School of the Americas, Maricela de la Luz Lights the World, Adoration of the Old Woman, The Street of the Sun, Gliese 581D, Yellow, Human Emotional Process, Pablo and Andrew at the Altar of Words and Giants Have Us in Their Books—have premiered off-Broadway and have been seen at major theaters across the country as well as in France, England, Romania, Peru, Mexico, Greece, Puerto Rico, Singapore, Australia, Norway, Sweden, Germany, Scotland and Canada. His most recent film credit is the adaptation of Jack Kerouac’s On the Road directed by Walter Salles. He was nominated for an Academy Award, a BAFTA Award, a Writers Guild of America Award and Spain’s Goya Award for his first produced screenplay, The Motorcycle Diaries, also directed by Walter Salles. His film Trade was the first film to premiere at the United Nations.
