WADE
ALLAIN-MARCUS Upon
receiving an early BFA, from New York University’s Tisch School of Drama,
he immediately landed roles in Friends With Money, Waist
Deep, and Take Me Home Tonight. He costarred alongside
Ethan Hawke in Antoine Fuqua's Brooklyn’s Finest and has
guest-starred on Gossip Girl, Burn Notice, and
costarred in the MTV musical The American Mall. In theater,
as an actor/singer/guitarist in the off-Broadway musical Post No Bills at
the Rattlestick Playwrights Theater, he originated the role of Eddie Harper,
and co-starred in Kris Diaz's Welcome to Arroyo's at the
Old Globe Theater in San Diego. Wade also participated in the Sundance
Theater Lab on Governor's Island.
He most
recently wrapped a recurring role on VH1's Single Ladies.
AMANDA BARTON
was born in Pennsylvania, and grew up in
Australia and Hong Kong. She began
performing theater in Hong Kong, starring as Kate in Shakespeare’s THE TAMING
OF THE SHREW. She continued to study
theater at UC Santa Barbara, where she also took several courses in horror and
sci-fi films. Her acting credits include
films seen on Syfy channel, including DRACULA’S CURSE, FRANKENSTEIN REBORN, and
THE BEAST OF BRAY ROAD, and the recently released SORORITY PARTY MASSACRE and
BLOOD RUSH on DVD. As a writer, Amanda
has numerous features and episodic scripts currently in development, including
the dramedy LAte BLOOMERS and the sci-fi concept pilot INVISIBLE INK. Stay tuned to see Amanda later this year in
the hilarious comedy feature BRO, WHAT
HAPPENED?, directed by Last Comic Standing’s Dante. This is her second year participating in the
LA bareNaked reading series and is happy to work with such a great crew.
KIMBERLI ALEXIS FLORES is currently attending the University of Southern California and obtaining her MFA in Acting at the USC School of Dramatic Arts. Kimberli is also a B.A.D.A Alumni, graduating the British Academy of Dramatic Arts Summer Shakespeare Training conservatory in Oxford University, as well as a graduate of the William Esper Conservatory in New York City. Kimberli spent many years touring as professional Latin Dancer and Choreographer throughout the world, and performing on stages such as Lincoln Center's Avery Fischer Hall, Carnegie Hall, City Center, Madison Square Garden, the Staple Center, the Shrine Auditorium, Teatro Arbole (Madrid), and the Victoria Palace Theater (West End,UK)Kimberli is happy to be joining Barefoot Theater Co. for the first time in their Reading Series!
DONNA SIMONE JOHNSON is
ecstatic to work with Barefoot Theatre Co. and this talented cast! Recently,
she's been seen in Twilight: Los Angeles, 1992, Po'rKnockers
(Tamara), Massacre, Sing To Your Children (Vivy), The Cherry Orchard (Dunyasha),
We Are Proud to Present (Actor 6/ Black Woman) amongst others. She is a
member of Theatricum Botanicum and Urban Theatre Movement and will receive her
MFA in Acting from CalArts this May.
JUAN PACHECO, a native Philly-Rican, has called
LA home for the last 12 years. His film credits include The Take, Boys &
Girls Guide to Getting Down in addition to several short films. Most recently
he participated in The Shakespeare Lab at The Public Theatre in NYC. He was
last seen as Mace in InterAct Theatre's production of Kristoffer Diaz' play THE
ELABORATE ENTRANCE OF CHAD DEITY. Juan has also appeared on-camera in nearly 40
national commercials and has lent his voice to over 100 feature films and tv
shows combined. He holds a BFA in Acting and is a proud member of SAG/AFTRA and
AEA.
AMADOR PLASCENCIA is a current MFA student at USC, grew up in southern California his entire life, currently resides in the San Fernando Valley. Has recently finished a production of Shakespeare's Pericles where he played multiple characters: Antiochus, Simonides, Serimon, Pirate, Attendant.

FRANCISCO SOLORZANO - for the past 15 years, Francisco has produced, directed, acted, and led the Barefoot Theatre Company as Producing Artistic Director / Co-Founder from Off-Off Broadway to become a critically acclaimed and award winning NYC and LA Ensemble. Most notably onstage, Francisco adapted, directed and acted in the critically acclaimed/sold-out Off-Broadway world premiere of DOG DAY AFTERNOON (Theatre Row Theatres). Francisco has also been known for his leading role in Israel Horovitz's two-act drama SINS OF THE MOTHER (alongside Ethan Hawke, Chris Cooper, Bobby Cannavale, and Michael Stuhlbarg). Most recently, acted in and co-produced two short films with Barefoot Studio Pictures, THE GIRL WITH THE JACKET written and directed by Caitlin FitzGerald and FLOATING SUNFLOWERS (also dir.) w/ Anna Chlumsky, Lynn Cohen & Christopher Whalen. Collaborated on award winning revivals, NY and World Premieres with some of the most prolific companies including: LABYRINTH THEATER COMPANY, RATTLESTICK PLAYWRIGHTS THEATER, FLORIDA STAGE, GLOUCESTER STAGE CO., ENSEMBLE STUDIO THEATER, STELLA ADLER THEATER, THEATRE ROW THEATRES. BFA in Acting: CUNY'S Brooklyn College; Recipient of the Graduate Theater Organization of Brooklyn College, CUNY's Alumnus of the Year Award. Currently splits his time between his home in Brooklyn, New York and Hollywood, CA.
